Friends of Rio Rancho Open Space, Inc.

On March 6, 2011, fire broke out in the middle
Rio Rancho bosque. Rio Rancho Fire Department responded and quickly
got it under control. The fire stayed along the ground with just a couple trees being scorched.
Cause of the fire is unknown.
